I had a set for three years.
Used them twice! Way too much faff even if they do look great!
Was happy to be rid of them.

Seller is trying at what a set went for the other week (which we know was a true sale and paid for)

Don’t think they will have much joy though straight in at that price.

Not sure if I’ll get into trouble for this post or not...?

I’d be willing to let my set go, but only as a partial trade in exchange for some aero skirts (plus cash towards aeros)

I’ll be back in the UK for a trip in a few months so no problem delivering them.

Any takers?

I guess the idea of 3D printing some fell through? Too complicated perhaps?

I don't think anyone was willing to lend their set to be copied.

At this rate, it'll be cheaper to buy a coupe soon

Or maybe a hardtop, because what these do is make your electric folding roof redundant

Agreed, they do seem a bit pointless, unless you keep the car in a garage with the roof down and only bring it out in the sun, I can see the benefit then.

Being in the south east we have a fair few stretches of days like this, or at least over the weekend, so that's exactly what I tend to do. I like mine. They are a faff if you are going on short journeys, or if you misjudge the weather on a motorway trip (like I did last year and had to stop halfway home under a motorway bridge to remove them, already drenched...), but they look better, and they really cut down high speed wind noise especially with the windows up. The other thing they do, at least on my car, is stop the roof moving up and down and rubbing on the rubber trim at speed when it's down, which is causing a couple of thinning spots on the fabric. I guess there is some adjustment that could be done to the roof to prevent this, but I have no idea how to do it

Anyway, well worth the £60 I paid :D
Current... Silver Grey ///M Roadster, non-flimper spec, Imola Red nappa, permanent ear-to-ear grin 8)

This is my situation when my car comes off sorn 1st April the roof comes down, covers go on and the car only comes out of the garage when the sun shines.
They do improve the looks and do aid buffing along with the centre wind net thingy

I'm actually trying to create a model to print, but in my spare time, so progress is slow :)

I've got a pretty decent sample already, working of some pictures. I think the part where it meets up with the top will be the hardest, as I've never modeled anything before :)

Will keep you updated if I get something working.
