Someone tried to steal my brake light!

So someone tried to steal the brake light from my Z4 (or at least I think they did). :headbang: :headbang:

So annoyed they left a dent in the paint work where they have tried to pry it off.

1) Does anyone know where I can source a Brakelight?

2) Should I just repair the light myself?

3) is this an excuse to upgrade to face lift rear lights?

PS Yes my car needs a good wash.

Thanks,

Scott

Sorry to hear this
Contact Sopers and quote the Forum for a discount - I think they are £50+ (a while since I bought one)
The clear ones are cheaper than the red.
Some members buy the new springs and washers as over tightening or the older, stiffer springs can cause them to crack
Others just cut a few turns off the old springs
Loads of threads on here about them if you do a quick search
Personally I'd be tempted to glue it first and see how it looks

Then a wash

Probably broke by itself. Thats a standard fault with the model.
You go get yourself a new one on ebay for 50 euros.
A clear one looks great on a silver car.
No need for new springs, just dont overtight them when mounting
