Change to E89

The question is, will I regret buying an E89 35is and parting company with my 3.0si coupe?

depends what your after, for me the coupe looks great, the e89 front looks nice, but for me i dont like convertables the rear just doesnt do it for me

but e89 will have better comfort, and be more refined

Just take one for a test drive, and see if you like it

Swopped my E85 for a 3.5is and absolutely love it. I have had a lot of cars but this is my all time favourite. It gives the best of all worlds with comfort and performance. Every time I drive it it puts a smile on my face. :D :D :D

I love my E85 for many reasons but one is the amount of luggage I can pack into the boot for a long holiday. Try doing that in an E89 if you ever want to put the top down!

Had both Mcoupe and 35iS at the same time.
Decided to sell the M as I just wasn't using it enough
35 is more comfortable, more refined and of course the top comes off

I do miss the style of the M and the fact that it would be appreciating now, whereas the 35 is depreciating.
Really should have kept both; but not fair as no room for both in the garage.

If I had to make the same decision again, I would do the same
Enjoy your 35iS it is the best car I've ever owned
:) Life's for living :)

I'd definitely want to try an E89 before I considered swapping my Coupe for one!

But I'd probably just look for an M Coupe if an upgrade becomes an option.

Fitted luggage is available that will still let the roof function

Mrs Bear must pack light - if I had gone away with the former Mrs Tidy she would have filled both of those and I'd have been using a carrier bag!

Thanks for the comments. I’ve decided to stick with the E86 for the time being. The issue is that Mrs Grumps has got a 2 Series convertible and we haven’t really got room for both now, so the E89 was supposed to be a compromise.
I have to say it seemed like a lot of car for the money though...
