I'm just wondering - how easy is it to fit a MFSW, to a pre-facelift car that is not old enough to come with the harness pre-installed?
(I'm assuming the earliest cars that came with electric seat harnesses etc, also have the necessary wiring for MFSW)
I'm also guessing the hardest bit could well be finding a MFSW in the first place!
cheers

I never had one in my E85, but I do in my E89. I pretty much never use it

I've not had one in a Z4, but my E91 has it.
I do use it, but only because it's there! I don't really miss it in the Z4 - it's not like the stereo is that far away.

Use mine all the time but mine has the phone connected via bluetooth so easier than messing with the 'phone, not to mention illegal
It's nice to be able to turn the stereo up or down without reaching for the dash too.

Fitted one to my early E85 and that didn't have the 2 wires fitted (easy to do) so very few were pre wired. I use my one quite a lot though.
