All Leather e85 automatic shift knob?

Most automatic shift knob/levers that I've seen have had a metallic insert in them. Mine is solid leather and I'm wondering if that was stock, or a cover. If it's a cover, it's well done.

Ok thanks. The leather is worn and shabby looking.

I’m ptretty sure the full leather ones are on the 2.5 not the 3.0. I recently sold my auto Z4 but got a nice new shiney one from EBay for £50 ish. Very easy to fit too
BMW E89 3.5i M Sport manual, loving it….
Audi S5 Cab, Great car but not special enough….
BMW E89 3.5i DCT, Havana Brown, should never have sold it…..
BMW E85 3.0 Auto, sadly missed (twice)
