Thanks for that!

But Papa Zee posted a twin pipe exhaust tip and thats what I'm querying. Does that tip for a 2.0L?

I don't see how it works?????

Maybe get the twin pipe instead whilst you're at it? I did for my 2.0i.
Is this part for any 2L? So you have a single exhaust pipe and this part fits over to create a twin pipe?????
I have 2.0L z4 with (I assume) standard oval exhaust
The one I ordered from Amazon £20 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002J2LUEW/ ... 7CbNKASS3J
Is a duffer. Just waaay to big. I ended up returning, pics are in the is thread on prev. page.

Instead I got an OEM £45 much happier! (Article Number: 82120405099)

I am pretty sure you cannot use a twin tip "over" the oval (unless you replaced the whole exhaust). If this was your question...

So Papa_Zee can you enlighten us on how you got a single pipe to work as a dual pipe with just a tip? I've always liked the look but don't understand how it works. Thanks in advance for your response.

I am sure I posted a response but now I can't see it...

Anyway here goes again.

I got a back box and tip package from these guys (https://www.fastlanestyling.co.uk/) i think it was around £250-£280 at the time and they installed it. You get to choose any twin pipe design and they will weld it into place. For the 2.0i, the single outlet is welded onto the twin pipe and adjusted. You really can't tell the difference between it and the 2.5si/3.0si models.

I did eventually ask them to take the back box out and put my original one back but retained the twin pipes. The drone was too loud for me. More like a 'Race-Mode' box would sound. Still looked very nice but have now sold the car.

I believe if you just wanted the tips, that should be possible and not too costly. Just ask.
