Seat Runners going rusty???

Post by rich48848 » Mon Jan 07, 2019 2:36 pm

My seat runners seem to be breaking out in rust?

My car is a coupe but is kept outside, so maybe it's just winter damp? Seems an odd thing to rust... maybe they are made from old MX5's???

Mine is too, the runners have worn away the paint coating so has rusted slightly and this merges with the grease... it makes it look much worse than it really is!

Mine too. Carpets always dry, and kept in a dry ish garage. I wouldn’t say it’s anything to worry about, just some cheap metal on display
