When fitting a hardtop can the soft top down side covers be fitted,?this to tidy up the back shelf and reduce road noise.

Its possible, but fit them after the hardtop is on because they are easily damaged otherwise and even then they can scuff. Won't have any effect on road noise either.

no you need to fit them first before the hardtop
