All sports cars this side of an Atom V8 are a compromise. Just a question of where individuals draw the line.Simon 3.2M wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 8:57 pmExactly - the best of both worlds really and a true road rocket!!buzyg wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 8:46 pmSound advise. You could sharpen the E89 up a bit, Eibach anti roll bars, adjustable drop links and some M3 tie bars, or go the full monty with a set of KWV3’s tuned to your liking. You’ll never have the small feeling throw it around car that the E85 is but there’s more of a car in the E89 than standard.

Had a go in an E89 3.5is, certainly fast though I didn’t feel it had the confidence of my old 3.0... so instead I went for the one which’ll try to kill you if you’re stupid.

Years ago I was the same 2 hours after I bought an iPhone. Realised the OS was designed by and for children and very limited compared to Android. Regretted it for two years of the contract and got shot of it early.
Maybe it's too girly for you. After all the E89 was designed by women for women after all!
Bin it and get another E85 with a bigger engine that the 2.2 you had. 2.5 SI or 3.0 SI. Z4MR?
Is it that you need to go to Specsavers as you may have eye issues if you thought it was a good looking car to begin with.
Have the neighbours complained about you lowering the tone with the clunking roof monstrosity lying around?

Great advice - and if you do go back to an E85 make sure it's got a bigger engine! At least a 2.5Si or preferably a 3 litre. An M if you are feeling brave, or maybe an Alpina?buzyg wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 8:46 pm Simon 3.2M wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 8:24 pm

MrsG is an avid Cat lover, yet still drives, more often than walks, the 1 1\2 to work.
Happily not in the Zed. Plus she is on her feet much of the day.

Worse problems to have. Give it time, you might even end up jumping back in an E85 and suddenly regret selling the E89
