Hopefully it's a 3.0Si SE, so a facelift model.
But an SE will have "Sport" seats as standard, although M-Sport seats were an option and are much more popular on here!
Just bear in mind that a used pair of M-Sport seats will cost up to £1,000, so up-grading wouldn't be a cheap option.
The facelift got the N52 engine which is great, but has an electric water pump which isn't cheap to replace - usually around £250 for the pump from ECP.
So if there is any documentation for a new water pump that would be a bonus!
Good luck with your search, and don't forget we like photos!

If it has heated ///M sport seats (check you know which is which before you go by googling some pictures or searching on here - hint the front of the base seat bolster can be adjusted/extended forward to support your thighs) grab it even if the water pump hasn't been changed!
Mr Tidy is right water pump £250 ......... but seat upgrade around a £1000

Welcome to the forum,
m sport seats are nice to have, but don't let it be a deal breaker if it doesn't have them, The normal sport seats are fine.
Look in the boot and see if the roof motor has been moved to the corner, right behind the passenger. Also see how the roof operates. It's not a big job to repair the motor and there are members on here who can do it much cheaper than a dealer will charge.

Well good news and bad news.
Good news is I got a crackin deal. Full BMW service history and full years MOT and had a full service 500 miles ago with a good deal of money spent on it But no M sport seats. Drove it 240 miles to Cairnryan. Very comfortable. Heated leather seats.
Bad new is I missed the 7.30pm boat and am waiting in Cairnryan for the 12am boat!! Worth it though.

Still it sounds like you are pleased with it, and even if you didn't get M-Sport seats yours are heated - which by all accounts are very desirable on Roadsters.
Looking forward to the photos!

Thanks for all the messages.
It was a nice drive up although a bit wet.
Am cleaning the car tomorrow then I’ll get the pictures up. In the meantime is there anyone in Northern Ireland to relocate the roof motor? It’s working really smoothly and want to keep it that way.
Thanks

Your car looks great Keith.
But then it does have Pearl Grey seats.
I hope you've been enjoying your 3 litre - the N52 is a great engine.
