Hi can someone reccomend me some decent LED side light bulbs to replace the standard yellow bulbs please.

Looked on ebay and there's thousands to choose from :scratchhead: so thought I'd ask you guys.

I thought about this too. Some of the ones on eBay are so cheap but you hear horror stories of them burning out! An alternative is the Osram ones, but they’re expensive at £15 for 2
I’d like to do the front ones too, but not sure if the bulb type.
3.0si roadster. Requisite stubby. Sound gen mod. LED numberplate lights. LED boot strip. Interior lights LED too. ZHP gearknob. Daily drive :driving:
Motor in boot. Bilstein B8 dampers. New radio, much better sounds

I’d spend some money on a pair, the cheaper ones just aren’t up to it.

I think the bulbs youre looking for are the W5W or T10 (they're the same thing).

These can be used for:

- Side indicator (where the BMW roundel is and NOT the bulbs inside the headlights. Those are different again)
- Front parker/side lights
- Interior and trunk light
- Licence place light

I bought a pack of 50 cheapy ebay ones that are super ugly as they dont have any lens casing or anything. Didn't intend on using them in my headlight sidelights but ended up doing that anyway to match the rest of my LED set up.

Only issue I've had with them so far is the colour temp is inconsistent - either white, or a tinge of blue. Bit of a lucky dip to get a matching set for the interior!

I've only had them on for a couple of weeks, but these have been good so far.

I modified them by painting over the SMDs on the end, as I want them to light up the reflectors rather than shine light outwards. I call them Angel Pupils 😂 (please excuse my scratched lens) 🙂

They are actually quite bright, I had to alter the ISO to show the effect properly.
