On the drive to work this morning I noticed the reflection of my headlights in the rear bumper of the car in front of me. My coupe should have the bi xenon lights but the driver's side one has a slight yellow tint compared to the white of the passenger side.
I hadn't noticed this before, do xenon's normally have some colour variation? It's not pink at all so doesn't look like it's on the way out but I feel like I would have noticed this before...
Cheers

Headlight colour discrepancy
One bulb could have been changed in the past for a different temperature.
I only replace in pairs (although only had one new set in 160,000 miles).

They can change colour before failing - I have seen them on a Cayenne once where one side went really purple before the bulb went bang.. so could be that?
