Ride Height E85 Z4 3.0i with M Sports

Post by Nothgiel » Fri Oct 12, 2018 11:22 am

I have fitted the Suplex 06231 but have discovered the ride height is not the same as the quoted figures from BMW. I measured the ride height on the left hand side to be 620mm and the right hand side to be 610mm. The manual states that the ride height for 18” rims with low-slung sports suspension and M sports suspension should be 588mm +/-10mm. I have measured from the rim flange to the lower edge of the wheel arch as the diagram specifies, please see the attached documents. Can you explain the difference in ride height?

As you've changed the springs it might take a bit of time and driving for them to settle down a bit

Same thing happens when I jack up the car and change wheels. Short drive and it should settle again... unless they're a different height spring?

Takes time to settle
I changed my lowered springs to standard and took a few days to settle
