Oh my god.
That was the first one I drove when on the look out for a new car, it put me on the path of a Z4M as a candidate and gave me a feeling I couldn't shake.
There was a few reasons I didn't pick that one up though, when I first went to view it I got some time with the car by myself, when I opened the boot the battery cover and fixings were all over the boot and the interior lights were hanging out, I put it all back together as it wasn't presentable and I'm guessing it was like that because of a need to charge the battery. Other things I noticed was the wheels needed a refurb, the brakes looked a bit past it, there was a dent in the roof and the cigerette lighter was missing.
Apart from that it drove nice and the rest seemed good, history seemed decent and when I test drove it I parked it up and had a good look underneath and listen about the bay. I was even offered a good chunk of money off but didn't commit as it was the first car I'd looked at.
I was mainly put off by the fact it was black, over 100k and didn't have parking sensors, other then that for the price it was a good buy but I always weighed up that it would need another inspection soon, refurbed wheels and new brakes which pushed the price a lot closer to a car with less miles etc...
I hope you enjoy it man Also where about you located? Looking for some Z4M members along the south coast

Oh my god.
That’s normal. The inner rings aren’t really angel eyes in the CCD/LED sense, just part of the lens that catches light from a single bulb (that can be replaced by an LED for a whiter look, incidentally).Rickster93 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 10:04 pm Thanks for all the comments fellas. I will upload more photos once I give it a good detail over the weekend! Also my car has angel eyes and they certainly don’t look retro fit. Didn’t even know that was an option. But both outside halos don’t light up

Oh my god.
Bought a new battery and the boot is back to spotless haha. All 4 tyres are brand new ps3s and I don’t like the wheels anyway so they are going.Optinium wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 10:22 pm That was the first one I drove when on the look out for a new car, it put me on the path of a Z4M as a candidate and gave me a feeling I couldn't shake.

I had a brand new fag lighter at home from my e46 m3 spare! I love the combo tbh. Everything I wanted! Black on black which appears to be extended! All the extras I wanted. Didn’t care about parking sensors. Im a good Parker
Service history is excellent and by far one of the quietest s54 lumps I’ve heard! I didn’t take me long at all to realise it was fundamentally a very strong looked after car. An inspection 2 service was carried out at 99k miles. With oil change and diff oil change! Next service due is oil in 7k miles. But I’ll be doing it next weekend anyway lol.
As for the brakes, my dad has some ap racing ones lying around from his m3. I’m south east Kent. Darkest corner

Oh my god.
Very very nice . It looks like you've really looked into the issues that put optinium off buying it, and have had them resolved to your satisfation.
Enjoy the driving.
P.s. If you want to get rid of the Style 224 wheels on it now, there should be a long line of keen buyers on this forum, based on previous examples put up for sale.

Not extended leather (sorry to burst your bubble!) but very nice all the same. Seats look in good shape for 100k+.

Oh my god.
Looks like the extended leather to me and great to hear you are enjoying it - I bought mine 3 weeks ago without seeing it first and haven’t stopped smiling since
Have attached a photo of the interior of mine which looks the same as yours but in a different colour

That’s ok mate lol! It’s certainly no deal breaker for me! Couldn’t a toot but all the same every extr is a bonus. Is that pad thing on the side to left of the gear knob standard then?

Yeah, that's for digging your knee into when you're heading for the last exit on the roundabout.Rickster93 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 9:02 pmThat’s ok mate lol! It’s certainly no deal breaker for me! Think it’s on both sides and my understanding was its part of the extended leather package - all I can see that yours doesn’t have is the cruise control and can’t see if it has the folding mirrors. Either way who gives a toss as long as it has the S54

Oh my god.
It is on both sides. No folding mirrors and no cruise control lol. Just leave me with pedals, a steering wheel, a gear knob and 1 chair. I’ll still be as happy as a pig in sh#t
