Thanks, you too - an unbelievably cheeky manoeuvre with the extended leather! Very jealous.
2008 Z4MC: heavy wheels | crap suspension | skittish rear end | wobbly engine | not enough induction noise | underwhelming turn in | inconsistent braking | lardy battery | chubby steering wheel

He who dares Mr Wilks, he who dares
Speaking of CSLs, here a shot from the Ace meet. They might be ‘common’ but they do look bloody good

No, we are definitely a special bunchMrPT wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 5:24 pmApologies if you (or anybody else) took offence. I can only speak for myself, of course.Jembo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 3:30 pmSuggest more discerning... find people refer to someone as ‘special’ when they’re inferring they have a social problem... & think that’s furthest from the truth of those hereMrPT wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 12:42 pm Apex Arc-8 are a really nice 18” CSL alternative if you like that style. They are CSL price, unfortunately, but are easier to get hold of and arguably superior, from a technical perspective.
18” CSLs look really odd if you are used to seeing 19” CSLs (or reps) on a Z4, but I’m not sure that should bother anybody since we’re quite a special bunch, after all.

Excuse the dirt... wanted to get you a pic with the roof up... normally she’s meticulously clean!
19’s too I’m afraid
What width are the front and rears and do arches need rolling in?
Z4 3.0L 2005. Titan Silver. Audio Upgrade Second Stereo Pioneer X8700DAB, Sony Xplode 4 x 70W Amp, 6.5" Reckhorn Subs in rear cubby, Focal AS165-3 in fronts.

They are made by Atomic, I got them from BM Autosport in Eastbourne.Magicarcher wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 6:47 pm What make are your CSL resps/where can I get some?

Front 19 8.5 et 38
Rear 19 9.5 et33
The fronts don’t rub at all with a 225 tyre, the rears rub the liner a tiny bit but only with a full tank, heavy load and on fast bends (255 tyre) . That was easily sorted with a heat gun just to stretch the liner out 5mm where it touched.
No rolling needed
Edit: I’m also 15mm lower than sport
