But has anyone managed to actually get anything into their door pockets as for me access is so bad they are completely pointless :(. Dont get me started on the ones behind the seats
Storage for bits and bobs in the Z4C is very minimalist. The glove compartment can take one glove. In the door pockets I have one small cloth for window wiping. The compartments behind the seats are more useful now that I have fitted seats from an M3 with tilt function.
On the whole though just learn to live without stuff and enjoy the ride.

I actually manage to get good service from those door pockets and the glove box... Drivers side contains: a seatbelt pad (incase the seatbelt starts irritating me on long journeys), a tin of breath mints and 4 x co-op fold-up shopping bags, the Passenger side has: an umbrella and spare shades for my passenger. Glove box has: sunblock, spare shades for me, torch, phone charger and A-Z Road atlas...

But the pouches behind the seats - REALLY???? :headbang: Someone needs to answer for those!!!!

Perfect for sunglasses without need of a case, aux cable, phone charger & Tim of mints. Not sure what else you would need without it being superfluous to any trip you are on. Appreciate I am fairly new to E86 ownership but have to say I love the interior - everything you need and nothing you don’t

Not in the door pockets - haven't you found the sunglasses holder above the rear view mirror? :)

Found it bought the replacement clip and broke that - resorted to sticking it shut and using the door pockets :headbang:

Ah right!

To be fair even when it works it tends to just eject your sunglasses as it opens so you aren't missing much!

I fitted a new catch to mine. I kinda miss the old auto dispensing of sunglasses at random moments 8)
