Hi guys I need to replace mine as they are shot to bits. Are they the same on an e85 and an e86 as ebay has lots for the e85? Thanks

If you look at https://www.realoem.com/bmw/ you can cross check any parts for your car.

They are the same between E86 coupe and FACELIFT E85 Roadster. Pre facelift roadster fog lights won’t fit of course, as they are a completely different shape.

Worth keeping an eye out for EuroCarParts discount weekends as I got new fog lights for mine at a reasonable price from there.

Make sure you check the discount deals from EuroCarParts with their own ebay sales. I replaced mine last year and I watched the discounts over a couple of months and they were never better than their own ebay price - even with the constantly changing discount and the changing RRP they quote :?

Just waited for the best price I'd seen and bought from their ebay page - arrived by post with EuroParts invoice.

Thanks guys I will keep a look out. Although I've just seen you can get blanking plates from the dealer which I think I prefer. I never use front fogs and replacing them with lights that will fill up and corrode again seems a little pointless.

I was going to suggest blanking plates and then I got to your last post.

Much cheaper (about £65 from memory), super easy to fit through the access hatch and look better to boot.

I never missed the lights as they make sod all difference.

I guess the only place to buy them is at the dealer?
