Just wanted to get some advice on my next service - history is as below:
23/9/09 - 13,254 - Oil Service (specialist)
24/10/11 - 23,476 - Inspection 1 (specialist)
8/8/13 - 41,409 - Oil Service (independent)
6/6/14 - 43,707 - Oil Service (independent)
14/9/16 - 53,542 - Oil Service (independent)
27/2/17 - 58,001 - Inspection 2 (specialist)
My car is a 57 plate e86.
Car is sitting on 68,500 miles now and showing 7,500 miles until next service is due (oil service). I need to get it MOT'd in the next month and was thinking it made sense for a service now too after ~10,000 miles/18 months. I took it to a BMW specialist for the Inspection 2 and got the brake fluid changed at the same time but wasn't that impressed in the end with the garage, therefore this time I am thinking of taking it to a generic "big" garage and just getting a full service done. I guess I could probably get away with an "interim" service or no service at all but I'm not that comfortable with leaving it "un-serviced" for a long period of time.
