17" e46 space saver and Jack, or a spare front is what I did (I don't like the limited to 50mph)

Space saver help

If you have a pre-facelift running standard front brakes I believe you may be able to use a 16" space-saver, which will be cheaper than a 17"!

On a Euro tour I'd be tempted to take a full-size spare - I know it will eat into boot space, but if you get a puncture you'll need to fit the full-size wheel with a flat tyre in somewhere anyway! And at least you'll still be able to "make progress".
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

All pre-facelift are 16” compatable unless you’ve done the 330 brake upgrade.

I’d be tempted to run 18’s or even 17’s depending on where you’re going!
