Ahh bit far then. I might have been able to pick one up.
Not sure what you need exactly, but if you get something like this then you should have everything you need.

No idea either I'm afraid. I'll take a look this weekend if that's any use to you... unless someone else chimes in that's done it before.

Not done it on the Coupe which has a load more plastic covering everything in the boot.
Once you get behind the plastic it's just one torx screw holding the Base to the car
You'll need to buy a new antenna Base now though

Well I definitely call that a stubby,,,,
Must have been well locked in to snap like that, you can get a bolt extraction set from screwfix, where you drill a small hole in the bolt and thread in the removal tool

Spray thr hell out of it now with penetrating oil. Same in morning and then get a good mole grips on it. It should come out. There seems to be just enough left to grab hold off.
Worth a shot.

That's what I had to do on another car. Key is the oil. And don't rush, put some on in one day (morning, evening, etc), again the next morning and then give it a go in the afternoon. I also used a hammer to tap the screw section to try crack the seal. You're not hammering a dowel in or anything, just a light tap to try free it up. The one I had did protrude further but like above, you still may be able to get it off...

You could now go down the Araldite/Coat Hanger route, be better reception than a stubby
