I have a 2004 Z4 that has cloth heated seats. I bought a set of leather heated seats from a 2006 model.
I note there are some wiring differences. I have started work changing the passenger seat, and on the original seat there are 2 wires coming from the seat pad (blue & a white wire) which I think come from the passenger seat occupancy pad, they go into a black box, there is a cable with 3 wires in it going to the yellow connector plug under the seat.
The 2006 seat has a cable with 3 wires coming from the seat pad, which again I think is the seat occupancy pad, but no black box etc.
question is can I just take this cable with the 3 wires on the 2006 seat and connect it to the yellow connector under the seat?
saw some stuff about bypass modules etc but would be better if it could be connected up.
kind regards
