Often these LEDs have thick tangs that are smaller but thicker than the h7 tangs...best thing is to ensure the right thick tangs on the led line up with the orientation of the assametric tangs on the h7.
You will probably find that you can only engage and rotate the leds partly compared to the h7..
That was my experience on the led I put in for the angel eyes..

I hope you didn't glue them in. You know LEDs on these cars don't last long. They'll be flickering in a few months time.

Yea I glued them in really well... they are only for full beam however so not used often, flashing and for clear nighttime empty roads.
If they start to go it's the perfect excuse to get the Angel Eye upgrade
Where did you get your Supercharger by the way?
Can you give an opinion on the whether it's worth the money?
Thanks again.

Got it from MStyle. Just Google M style ESS supercharger and it'll come up.WiseOwl wrote: ↑Mon Jun 25, 2018 12:57 pm Yea I glued them in really well... they are only for full beam however so not used often, flashing and for clear nighttime empty roads.

It's quite a hefty bill of near £5k just for the kit. But I've gone through a clutch and fly wheel and it took me 3 full days to get it fitted and up and running. I ended up taking the entire front end off the car.
It is worth it to an extent...
My logic is. The car cost me £2200.. for sub 10k you cannot really get a more powerful roadster. It's on par with a new S3 / Golf R.
Even s2ks are going for 10k now and you need a lot more dollar for a boxster.
You could argue just buy a 135i can for that money but in terms of a 2 seater there just isn't anything except death trap VX220s, Elans which are ancient now and so on. Worked for me anyway.
But you need a lot of will power to DIY it. No one will fit it for under £1k.
It is worth it though. Makes the car pretty frugal.
The car also is developing bore wash now. Not sure if it's through running rich but every throttle blip literally dumps fuel down the exhaust and crackles away and it's loosing compression. So again more expenses on a rebuild and new piston rings.

Sounds great, I do love mine... got it for £5500 2004 with only 39k on clock, been very well looked after and everything feels really tight.
I'd love some extra power, it's fantastic handling wise and quick off the mark but I do find a mid range lack and my 60mph - 100mph range is far too long (basically overtaking territory)
Are there any cheaper turbo options, something that could be retro fitted for less ?
Wouldn't need a lot of boost, surely the stock build could handle just a bit...

Turboing it would cost a lot. There isn't really any off the shelf product for it as the manifold doesn't leave a lot of room to place them.
In all seriousness if I could go back I wouldn't do it again. I'd just dump the car and buy the Alpina variant of it. Which is 330bhp off the shelf and won't depreciate. To be honest if you sold yours for £5k and stumped up another £7k you could get a nice Alpina roadster. Granted it isn't boosted and pretty much at its limit but it'd save all the hassle. But you'll never turbo the car for less than an SC kit. Ones that have been done are good for 7psi and then it needs forged internals etc. Big bucks unless you have friends in select places.

Ah fair enough, maybe just save up a little longer then.
So is the Alpina better than the Z4m?

Matter of opinion. I'd rather one over an M. The Alpina has a better service schedule same as a 3.0 and near enough the same costs. The Alpina is rated to be slightly quicker but imo has far better prestige and looks better and far far rarer and slightly cheaper in most cases.
