These things! Never mind. Had a very spirited drive and can confirm on twisty public B roads with a bit of camber, a) I will struggle to get to it’s limits and b) it is a bit twitchy.
Guy on here - Bowser34 I think is his name - done loads of relocations (including mine), based in North Hampshire. You’ll find a long post if you search for roof motor relocation.
Adrian is a gentleman, very reasonable and sorted it completely. £40. Awesome.parabolica wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 11:36 am How did your car get on with Adrian at Gilberts? Knock sorted out?
Cheers, will get in touch.Worcester_spoon wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 11:42 amGuy on here - Bowser34 I think is his name - done loads of relocations (including mine), based in North Hampshire. You’ll find a long post if you search for roof motor relocation.
Hello mate, Wimbledon, not far at all, Putney is only up the road. I dont know how far along you are with getting your car sorted but I have a Carly if you want to change anything. Little things like making the indicator do a 3 blink instead of 1 makes a big difference to me.Petahgreen wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 2:36 pm Hi Sam, good to see you enjoying the Zed. Funnily enough I bought a E85 3.0si at the similar time and whilst not central London, I'm in Wimbledon so got a totally unsuitable car that I only drive at weekends! We had similar lists of things to do too, I've had Cruise Control fitted by Steve on the forum and Bowser34 did my motor relocation, I would recommend both. Funnily enough, seat leather conditioning was on my list for this weekend too!
Enjoy the car, keep up with the updates.
Join the club! I'm in Richmond and bought my 3.0 SMG back in May; it too only gets weekend use, although it's about to do a 1000+ mile round trip up to Aberdeen next week.Petahgreen wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 2:36 pm Hi Sam, good to see you enjoying the Zed.
