Car mat recommends?

Post by Courageous » Wed May 23, 2018 7:45 pm

Can anyone recommend a good set of mats for the car? Mine has none and the carpet on the driver's side has holes in it now. How can anyone allow that to happen?

Anyway if anyone can point me towards good quality mats which fit I would appreciate it thanks.

Got mine off ebay for £45 from this place
https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/uk_independe ... 2749.l2754
Claims they're made by the same manufacturer as OEM ones. Certainly seem like they might be - well pleased with them

I picked up genuine mats from my local dealer last week for £53 (I had to haggle down from just over £60 to match the price of another dealership on eBay).

On a related note, I cant seem to see any OEM fixings for mats? I know my dads 5 series new and old both have little plastic clips that lock the mats in place but no such thing on the Zed?

I was a bit disappointed by that too, coming from a fairly long history of Audi ownership. The driver's side carpet has two oval velcro sections that the mat fastens to. The passenger mat just sits there :poke:

You wouldn't have the link to the ebay seller by any chance, would also like to haggle, but can't find anyone selling genuine Z4 mats on ebay.
