Not sure about Aero front bumper.
My car came to me with a Aero front bumper fitted, but I’m just not totally convinced about the aesthetics. There seems to be plenty of love on the forums for the aero kit, but I’m starting to think I prefer the more subtle original front end, rather than the more aggressive aero look. I might also revert back to chrome edged grills (the all black were on the car as bought too).
What are your opinions on the matter?
Anyone with a Stirling grey standard front considering an aero swap?

You really need Aero skirts to complete the look.
The rear bumper add on and spoiler do nothing for me, but the front and sides do look great together.

I'd be up for a swap if you're not too far away. Where are you based?

I agree with what you are saying and it does look a little odd, however they are very desirable so I think you'll have no problem with a swap. I like the grills all black and suit the SG very well. Great looking Zed by the way

Yes, I think ‘trade’ would have been a better word, ie cash my way.

I’m sure the skirts might balance out the look, but I can’t help thinking the front is a bit Jimmy Hill. Maybe the perspective in that photo exagerates it a bit.

ErrErrminator it might've been you I saw on the M5 south a couple of days ago. I was in my Audi so I doubt you'd remember my car. I think the Aero bumper looks pretty good myself

Much prefer the standard spoiler to the aero tbh.
Aero spoiler is sadly ott and remind me of the rather garish spoiler my dad put on his capri 2.8i when i was a nipper

Looks front heavy to my eyes. Either needs aero side skirts or a standard bumper, to balance the look.

I don't think its the aero bumper. I think it's wheels. What size are they?ErrErrminator wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:58 pm My car came to me with a Aero front bumper fitted, but I’m just not totally convinced about the aesthetics. Agree with you the standard pre facelift E85 is a stunning car and best left that way the black grills look OK with the black headlights.
The only thing I would do with mine if I was keeping her for life would change both bumpers for standard bumpers with no parking sensors and no headlight washer jets for a cleaner look.

I’m happy with the wheels. They are 18s on standard 225/40 and 255/35 rubber. I think the iPhone photos and my crap photography are partly to blame. I guess I’ve used a bit of a wide angle in these shots which kid of stretches, or foreshortens the images making the proportions look a little odd.Z4 COUPSTER wrote: ↑Sun May 20, 2018 8:30 am I don't think its the aero bumper.
