Common MOT issues

Post by kis » Wed Apr 18, 2018 1:36 am

About to go through later this month and other than obvious things that you can visually check without getting under the beast is there anything I should look out for?

I’m thinking about common problems?

Tyres and brakes are fine. Tyres probably being the more common one to fail due to the camber.

I think lollipops come up as well so will give the wheel a bit of abuse and check if there is play...

Anything else?

:)

The actual failure results for a typical 2008 z4 are available on the Web at https://good-garage-guide.honestjohn.co ... mw/z4/2008

Apparently at 10 years old they have a 74% pass rate which is better than average.
