Yellow Parking Brake Light + DSC Light suddenly came on
Before I dig out the laptop with ISTA etc (since I didn’t find anything obvious in the manual, although maybe a case of “woods for the trees”)
Does anyone know what this means?
Edit: Video from ISTA
I’m obvs applying the break at small intervals. But I’m guessing both should be -0.27 ish and NOT 40 like sensor 2 is!?

Nope
I found some other threads that point to a pressure sensor being the problem

would’ve been quicker but only had 3G signal and was being slow to upload haha
First post updated with YouTube video.
Looks like it’s pressure sensor 2 playing up. Maybe it was triggered by temp increase. Who knows. Does any one have to hand the part number? And a guide to change? I didn’t spot it on TIS but only looked quickly as I gotta get to work

Realoem.com for the part number. Not difficult to change (I would do both as the other one typically fails soon after). Wrapping clingfilm over your brake fluid opening can limit amount of brake fluid you lose but if you are quick between removing old and screwing the new one in you probably won't even have to bleed brakes. The Chinese ones from Ebay work just fine (3 yrs and counting on the E46 M3).

Awesome, I’ll take a look as soon as I’m on my computer - thanks. I’ve got MOT middle of May so will be doing a few other bits shortly anyways.ph001 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 2:08 pm Realoem.com for the part number. Mine does this every so often, like you say I think it's a faulty sensor. Should really fix it but it's really intermittent!

Yep, that's exactly how mine failed. Intermittent for about 6 months then just got more and more regular.thecremeegg wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 10:14 am Mine does this every so often, like you say I think it's a faulty sensor. Should really fix it but it's really intermittent!

With my high pressure brake sensor part number was 34521164458, cost £92 from Ocean BMW (via eBay).
There are cheap versions on ebay but I would avoid.

That's the part number I've ordered. I'm assuming they're both the same (there's 2). I only paid £25 each so will see how they hold up

Iv had this come up on mine now too. Reading around it seems to be knackered pressure sensors. How has your repair come along? any guides on how to perform the replacement?
Cheers

I haven't had a chance to do it yet. It's supposed to be straight forward and easy - but will make a guide with pics when I actually do it.
I ordered these ones: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-BMW-ABS-DSC- ... 1220138731
