Hello,
What is the right tires size for Z4 E85 3.0i 231HP with S704A M Sports suspension? I found two answers over the Internet: 225/45r17 for both rear and front or 225/40r17 for front and 225/35r17 for rear.
Btw. anyone has experience with XL (extra load) Michellin PS4 tires? They are a little bit cheaper in my country

Not so sure about the sizes on your 17's, but the XL rated PS4 tyres are amazing and one of the top tyres on the market so id definitely go for those if you can

I think you’re misreading the rear tyre size.
The options should be something like:
The options should be something like:
- a ‘square’ set up - so 225/45r17 all round, or
- a ‘staggered’ set up - so 225/45r17 front and 255/40r17 rear

XL will be better than non-XL ones? It's about 10$ difference on each, so it doesn't make a big difference
Will staggered set up be much better than square one? Square one has this advantage that I can switch rear with front each year as rear will wear out much faster with my style of driving

Depends on your wheel sizes, 255 on an 8" wheel will be too big, 8.5j minimummck159 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 11:58 am XL will be better than non-XL ones? It's about 10$ difference on each, so it doesn't make a big difference

I'm planning to buy 225/45r17, I misread it and though it was 225/40r17philbo909 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 1:25 pmDepends on your wheel sizes, 255 on an 8" wheel will be too big, 8.5j minimummck159 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 11:58 am XL will be better than non-XL ones?
