Hi guys I want to change my gearbox oil but don’t know the colour of the tag on the gearbox. So does anyone know what grade a manual 2003 3.0 would take please.

GL5 can eat certain metals in older gearboxes.

Yes it's the bronze in the synchros that it eats

In an older box, I would put GL4 in, better safe than brassic :)
