So my Z doesn't seem to have speakers in the doors... despite having grills..

Is this normal or did my fault bringing gremlin feed on them?

If normal is it a ballache to have some there?

You seem to have the 6 speaker setup.
Footwells, tweeters in doors and mids behind the seats.

Putting door speakers in is relatively easy.

Just wait until you find the cable for the CD changer between the seats, or the heating connectors sitting under the seats for non heated seats

Car has heated seats and changer all set up. I thought the nav unit motors had speakers in place here.

But thanks all.

Strange how cheap bmw have been here. Ordered some crimps, decent wire and 2x 4" and a set of components to replace the tweeters and invisible door speakers.

More fun awaits.

Any 4" will fit easy. There is a guide in the how to section. One of the 1st ones on how to put them in for the tweeter leech that's required.

Just go to caraudiosecuriy and take a look. Plenty for all budgets.

You'll some extra wire. Speakers don't come with any and some connectors. List is in the how to.

Thanks!
But I was looking at some Focal and Rainbow speakers and they were suitable for any car except E85/86. Do you know why?
