Powerflex bushes with B12 kit
Hi Guys,
I have purchased the B12 lowering kit for the 03 E85, getting it fitted on Saturday.
Are there any other things I am worth changing at the same time? I have the Meyle HD control arms, link rods, strut top mounts and the Lemforder drop links on order but not 100% on if or what powerflex bushes I should change while im at it? My knowledge of cars is pretty basic.
Can anyone recommend the most common bushes to replace?
Thanks

Most common bushes are the Control arm bushes (You should have them with the arms) and the Rear Trailing arm bushes.

As above. Front wishbone rear bush (lollypops) and rear trailing arm bushes are worthwhile doing. I went for superpro polybushes for these as thats what the garage had in stock at the time.
I also replaced my anti roll bar bushes with powerflex purple polybushes. My oem ones had become very saggy, so it's worth having a look on your car.

Get Lemforder rear top mounts as Meyle HD knock.
I'd recommend the offset bushes for the lollipops as it gives a noticeable increase in mid corner grip.

If those are the larger ones then yes. They do a smaller size for SE arb's and a larger size for sport arb's.Gstew89 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 12:50 pmDid you replace the anti roll bar bushes with the 25mm one?ben g wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 10:33 am As above. Thanks for the info Ben, last question... do I need to get the ARB mounting? ARB bushes from powerflex seem to be 24mm and 25mm so I will order the 25mm like you have said.ben g wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 12:59 pmIf those are the larger ones then yes. What do you mean by the mounting? On the rear I replaced the dogbone droplinks. Do you mean those?
Tbh the original ones were perfectly fine. I just fitted them as a bit of preventative maintenance.
