Paul, noted you were in Scotland and you were searching ebay for a car. Have you tried gumtree? Try this advert, if its still for sale it looks and sounds like a goodun. Of course due to different wheels you will have to get the ok from the senior forum members as to whether you should buy it or not.

I think they are the sort of wheels most senior members would love to be fair.

Then again, it's got plenty of extras so you might want to give it a swerve

A forum car that has been up for sale around 2 months , the "different wheels " are marmite & will always divide opinion :( aftermarket 18s rarely add much kudos to a older Z4 especially one on 55k & unmolested .

Going back to the previous car - the 6 years kept in a garage statement probably provides a non-sinister reason for the seat bolsters being overly worn.

Mines garaged. It ain’t easy getting in and out when you can open the door fully (and I’m small and young-ish), but getting in and out when you can only open the door 8 inches and the bolster can take a bit of a battering.

Many thanks for the comment.

Spoken to the owner (He has had it for only 9 months). The previous owner was the guy who looked after it. Pictures of the roof and interior look great. the seat can be sorted but I like your theory!

Is it the road or the angle they've taken the picture at make it look to be sitting too high on both sides at the back wheels?

Just doesn't look right to me!
