Hello,
I'd like to install new anti roll bars on my Z4 2.5si, and I just saw there are some H&R ARB which measure 27mm/21mm. I also saw that some people are talking about installing the M3 E46 H&R ARB, which are 30mm/25mm.
I've been doing some research and I know that the front bar is "plug&play", but the rear one from the M3 does not fit the Z4M. Do you know if the M3 bar will fit a NON M Z4?
Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you have that the wrong way round. The rear does fit the M. It's the non M cars it doesn't fit.
If you don't go down the H&R route I think some of the run of the mill e46 models have a bigger rear bar the zeds and they will fit.
Hopefully someone can confirm this one way or another.

My daily is a 325ti, so I've read quite a bit about them too!
I'm sure they have a stiffer rear ARB than any other E46, barring of course the M3 which sadly doesn't seem to be an option. Plus you don't need to find a Sport model as for some reason the 325 Compacts all had Sport suspension and seats, but despite that the SE's still only got 16 inch wheels.
If you have some time to spare I'm sure the answer is in here somewhere (they seem quite popular)!

Install M3 E46 anti roll bars?
Front m3 arbs will fit the z4 I have one. The convertible m3 bars are thicker I believe. You need to buy the m3 bushes but they fit in the carriers.
No rear m arb from a z4 or e46 will fit. I have a H&R rear waiting to go on no idea what size it is butfrom memory it’s about 25mm

^yes the e46 conv. has a 27mm front swaybar (like the z4m) and the normal m3 has a 26mm one.
The z4m / M3 rear swaybar doesnt fit the normal z4
I've also used the front m3 swaybar and a H&R rear swaybar for the last 5 years now. Its an excellent combination.
Rear H&R swaybar for the z4 is 21mm.

Hello guys, I've found a cheap M3 front ARB (coupe, so 26mm). Where can I find the rear H&R bar only? All I've seen is the full set (front and rear)GuidoK wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 11:37 pm

You could use an E46 vert rear sway bar which is 20mm.
