New Coupe Purchase

Post by Tyreman » Sun Feb 11, 2018 1:47 pm

After lurking on the forum for a while I've finally made a purchase, not a perfect car but maybe a perfect project

I hate the wheels & they will be binned off but it drives great and the bodywork/interior is near perfect........it was very cheap so leaves a little money spare for improvements :D

They look good on a coupe, wouldn’t be my first choice on a roadster.

Good choice !

I wouldn't recommend 19" wheels though. It usually needs lowering, making the ride much harder. I would stick to 18".
If you have the standard suspension, you could consider M-springs, brings the car to perfect height.

I've had CSL's on my previous Zed (roadster) with lowering. Looked great but was a harsh ride on some roads.

Don't go wider than 255 at the rear wheels to limit rubbing when lowered.

Similar yes if I'm honest.............but they're black which I'm not a fan of and too small with no stagger

On a slightly different note does anyone want to hazard a guess at the colour code.......is it Space Grey ?
