Work completed since March :)

Post by Coffee331 » Mon Jan 15, 2018 10:11 pm

I was just listing work I have completed on my car since I bought it last March. Turns out I was more productive than I first thought

I bought the car to both drive and work on, so happy to say have installed / replaced everything on this list apart from the ABS sensor. I know my work is far from as significant as some members on here but my skills are slowly improving

Stuff Completed....

Tinted rear light yellow bits
Front lip install
Black kidney grills
Tinted side indicators
New wheels
New Tyres
Carly coding - lights, locks, alarm
New air filter
Oil filter replaced

New door handle and carrier

Tie rods and boots replaced
Roll bar bushes replaced
Steering wheel re-trim

Door sound proofing installed
New wipers installed

Still more to do, but that’s all part of it :)

Interesting...Where did you put the unit? Does it interfere with the existing Bluetooth calls? Car looks sweet BTW.

I left the unit behind the pop out panel under the heater controls. If I ever want to use the sd or usb I can get at it easily...although I doubt I ever will lol. I only drive the car at weekends, only fitted the unit recently so haven’t used it much but it seems to do exactly as advertised so far.

The g spot is all that comes up when you Google it!

Edit: Found it, it's a flasher... :o http://www.gstop.co.uk/

Not sure if it works on pre-facelift but I coded flashing brake lights under hard braking on my coupe.

I thought it was something codeable too? Does anyone know? For the pre facelift...

It’s nothing to do with G spots

I don’t know if the flashing brake lights can be coded on a pre facelift; I don’t recall seeing anything on Carly but I wasn’t really looking for it either.

I had bought a G Stop for my main car and they emailed me with offering a second unit massively discounted so I thought why not for the Z :)

It’s a good product, works well and simple to fit.
