I bought a stop lock steering wheel lock as an extra bit of protection.
It won't fit in the normal way, i.e. through the wheel and then clamping on the steering wheel.
I've attached it but only around the wheel. I could do with something with more bend in it to go over the centre of the wheel and under the steering wheel.
Shame

Stop lock doesn't fit
I bought a 'stop lock pro' knowing this - figured it was better than no protection and would put off the opportunist thief. If you think about it theres no less protection simply because the end doesn't curl under the wheel - you've still gotta cut through the wheel or break the lock to drive the car.

I’ve got one too, but doesn’t fit too well like you say. They’ve got these ones that look similar to baseball bats? They clap to the top of the steering wheel (as opposed to sitting over the wheel and airbag) and prevent the wheel being rotated fully. Could be something to consider if you feel you need one?

Thanks for your response.
I'll use it as it is. Better than nothing I'm sure.
