Surely that was just hardened polish because the rotor head was too fast ?

If that was laquer damage,no way would it have buffed out.

Probably was mostly polish with a bit of lacquer damage but it was caused by me tripping and marking the boot lid with the side of the machine/pad hence why my first thoughts were worse than it turned out to be.

Be careful...if the protective clear is gone you will cut right through the base coat faster than you can imagine! :? A good paint shop can touch up that spot easy...

Just my two cents..sorry that happened! :headbang:
