I did this to my E85 on the rear bumper my using a DA polisher with the 3" pad too aggressively. Lessen well learned. It burns the paint VERY easily on the plastic parts of the car like the bumpers. Halfords do an excellent touch up kit for £12. Got it looking quite good.
