You are mad i've done that years ago. No chance now. My hardtop has been on since August no desire to remove it just yet.

Those are the some of the best times in the Zed. I love driving back from a night walk at 3am. Nothing else on the road stars lighting the night sky. I'm a bit of a wimp on frozen Dartmoor roads though., I save the quick driving for unfrozen surfaces or more open areas.

I'm not *that* mad

Roof down and heaters up full blast, it was bitter cold on my first run out in the Z. Get a wooly hat on and enjoy the sunshine

Nearly a week late but......
I assume none of you have issues with the hood getting damaged when lowering/raising it in freezing temperatures.
I love having the roof down in all weathers but I've randomly given myself a rule of not operating the roof when it's below 4 degrees. With the furnace like heater and heated seats I'd be comfortable when it's colder but I'm worried about cracking the hood.

Winter, the time to put her in the garage take loads of stuff off to clean, refurbish fix in November, finally get around to sorting it and not have the faintest idea what connects where as all the labels you made have been sat in a puddle of water and are now illegible

December and January were also 'cold' months in Thailand.....
22-26 degrees in the daytime and 18-22 at night - I still had the roof down as much as possible, in shorts and t-shirt, but with the heated seats turned on and the air-con turned off
Cold, because usually its 30-42 degrees the rest of the year.

I soak a beach towel in very hot water then lay it over the roof for a while. I repeat a couple of times until the fabric is soft. Been doing this for 10 years and never had an issue!Jamie25 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 11:06 amNearly a week late but......
