MOT time!

Post by Paulr » Wed Dec 06, 2017 1:29 pm

Always feel like I am waiting to have my teeth pulled. Needn't have worried, it flew through with no issues. they way it gets looked after though I am not too surprised.

MOT time!

Had my fiesta MOTd a few weeks back. Dude came out and slapped the failure in the desk and yelled "FAILED" broken spring! £470 for us to change it? Want to go for it?

Nope!

Re MOTd the following day and it went through and he tried joking with me. I said laughed saying bruh you just passed a fully decatted motor and didn't even notice the lambda is sitting in a blanking socket. Thanks for that. Usually I have to bribe someone. Thanks though. GG.

Off topic I know. f***ing hate greedy MOT men that try it on.

Congrats on passing. No doubt come my Z going in I'll get written off.

You will get written off? Harsh MOTers you have over there.

Hope your Zed passes OK though.

Great news OP.

I know the feeling - I took my daily in for an MOT just over a week ago. But it passed - a few advisories, but it's 15 years old so I'm not too worried about them (well not until next year).

I always get slightly anxious come MOT time, glad it flew through Paul. Probably looked so nice the tester had to use the handrail for support!!
