Retrofitting folding mirrors.
I agree they are handy to have - BUT once you fold the damn things, you can't use them to see what's coming before opening the door. Hence my desire to get them folding when I lock the car.

never got folding mirrors to fully work on remote, only lock but not unlock. However seen this in another forum and it says you have to code 2 modules!!!!! so you could give it ago.

Just need to get my head around the German software now - It's all installed on the Toughbook, and working , BUT I can't seem to load a profile and make it work..

Retrofitting folding mirrors.
I've got it all somewhere but had to manually install mine, which was a pain. If you've got a connection with the car just fire up NCS and download from any module to check it works. Then use NCS Dummy and the profile they provide as it works well. I can't post a pdf but have got a useful NCS guide I can send.

just thinking, how would the mirror fold work when you drive off and central locking locks car, will the mirrors fold in !!!!

No, because I'll pick the locking signal up elsewhere, if you know what I mean, ie between the remote receiver and the GM5, rather than the GM5 and the door module, if that makes sense. This is why I think it's going to be a little trickier.
