I have the exact same, can’t find where module plugs in, mike kindly took me some photos and videos while he was doing his but still couldn’t find it :(

At this rate we need a folding mirror day, not a Roof motor day

On mine, the connector for the module was above and to the left of the glovebox, not below it as in the tis link above. The facelift car they came from also had it in the same position as my car. I know as I removed them myself.

I know this is late to the party, but just responding to your very first post: that piece of wire isn't an antenna. It's a current sense resistor, adjacent to what looks very much like a motor driver IC ;)

Tried enabling folding mirrors via NCS on Hagasan's car yesterday, I think there was only one item relating to mirrors fold on comfort close and it didn't work.

Apparently they CAN be coded to fold in on locking

I wonder how fold on lock is achieved then? Like Mike has mentioned, it is possible. I've seen it posted before on other threads.

I can only think I missed something comfort close related, the NCS functions can be less than clear even with the translations. I'd like to see the trace from someone who has it working. Am I right in thinking it wasn't an option that was enabled at the factory?

Pretty sure SPIEGELABKLAPPEN_GM wasn't in the GM5, the only mirror folding code was defo comfort related.

Hell I'd be chuffed if I had to push the dam button every time and they worked !!! LOL (My fear is a face lift car will have more stuff missing as it does for the cruise control loom etc)

In my experience, the facelift cars seem to have the extra pair of wires already in the door looms, not sure about the module plug. My (pre) car had the module plug and the passenger door was wired for them, but not the drivers, so had to use the FL car loom and alter the pins at the connector as the window motor power routing is different, and also the window motor connector, so had to swap that from old loom.

+1!

When I go to see my Mum I often end up parked in the road, which is not only quite narrow but also a bus route so I always have to manually fold the offside one once I've got out. :(

But if I go in my E46 I just press the little button it came with and bingo, both folded.
