What is a Coupé Worth?

As to whether it is worth that, who knows? I suppose if I was desperate to find a nearly new E86 and had the budget I might think it was!

After all, you'll struggle to find another 1 owner E86 with BMW history and 22K miles now they're nearly all at least 10 years old!
If it is going to be a collector's car that's the kind of car you need. Not these 5 owner dodgy service history iffy condition cars for £11-12k just because they have <60k miles.

The only issue with these low mileage examples popping up is it makes other people get even more optimistic with values.

I'd be getting an m if I had 14k to spend.. cars with really low mileage that have sat around probably going to need some suspension bushes etc doing soon imo.

True, but if you do put some miles on a low miler you are going to lose some value (albeit not as much as the 1st owner). Actually it might work for me as I only do about 4k Miles a year in my E86. :?

But as mine has had 5 previous owners and only got it's first 2 services at main agents I had to laugh! Then again when I bought it in 2016 on 77K miles I had a chunk of change from £10K. :)

Multiple owners isn't unusual on cars like this though - younger owners suddenly find they need more seats, older owners struggle with access or want more comfort, etc.

As tempting as an M may be, any £14K E86M is going to be pretty leggy and they do cost alot more to maintain.

Good luck finding yours.

Wrongly advertised as a Sport when it's the SE.

This car was clearly being stored. It got to 2014 with only 222 miles. They've been using it a good bit more in the last couple of years.

Autotrader now indicate just about every Z4 Coupe at a dealer is priced well, Good or low now. This only happened yesterday. However, if you use Autotrader's valuation system they don't value the cars anywhere near those amounts.

I'm hoping the only way is up on the coupe prices or at least bottomed out .

Wow - that seems very expensive for an Automatic SE! :o

Surprisingly CAP value that car higher than most. Still not £14k, but for some reason the SE models come out higher than expected.

I don't get it.

They probably don't realise the majority of us on here would want the M-Sport seats, and even if they do they aren't aware of what they cost!

There’s very few alternatives to a modern(ish), dedicated 3.0/+ litre 2 seater Coupe being produced. Those that are cost considerably more to buy & run, or the mainstream Coupes (MX5/GT85 etc...) are 4 pot & in a choke-the-chicken comparison fall short...

I believe this is what’s partly fuelling demand... & whenever you search for Z4 our Forum appears... with all the wealth of knowledge & comments... happy dayz

The type of seats in it (not the winged M Sport type) and the roof liner is not dark grey.
Now Gone - 2008 Coupe, Montego Blue, Champagne leather and Piano Black interior, Eibachs & Koni Sport shocks, Style 230 19s, Eisenmann Quad - approaching perfection...

Pale headliner, thin steering wheel with silver spokes, sports seats, alloy wheel spec, to name a few features that identify an SE rather than Sport model.

I might be wrong but I thought that the “well priced” “priced low” etc is just available to dealers and part of their “sales package” I don’t think it means much more than a sales highlighting tool

My E86 has a dark headliner, thick steering wheel with black spokes, sport seats, MV2's and sports suspension, does that mean it's a sport or could it be a specced up SE?
