If it is going to be a collector's car that's the kind of car you need. Not these 5 owner dodgy service history iffy condition cars for £11-12k just because they have <60k miles.
The only issue with these low mileage examples popping up is it makes other people get even more optimistic with values.
True, but if you do put some miles on a low miler you are going to lose some value (albeit not as much as the 1st owner).
Actually it might work for me as I only do about 4k Miles a year in my E86.
But as mine has had 5 previous owners and only got it's first 2 services at main agents I had to laugh! Then again when I bought it in 2016 on 77K miles I had a chunk of change from £10K.
Multiple owners isn't unusual on cars like this though - younger owners suddenly find they need more seats, older owners struggle with access or want more comfort, etc.
As tempting as an M may be, any £14K E86M is going to be pretty leggy and they do cost alot more to maintain.
Good luck finding yours.
Coupes because stunning!
