Yeah I agree the steering wheel looks much better, I didn't paint them myself I got DietCokeMan from the forum to do them. He got a great finish on them, and I had the wheel retrimmed in Germany.
The rest of the interior is a bit marmite I can see some disliking it but I'm pretty happy with how it's come on. I just need to swap the door cards for some new / donated ones as that's the bit I'm not happy with.
Thanks Davros! No I ordered the footrest from here http://www.pedalhaus.com/e85rhd.html, it's the only place I've seen that make one specifically for RHD so yeah it's a perfect fit. I toyed with getting their full pedal set instead of the CF ones. I'm still not sure whether or not I picked the right option.

I cheated as was working nights and dropped of off at my local garage. 160quid fitted.
Think you can get them on eurocarparts for around 100, or less if you manage to get a discount code. The fitting looks quite straightforward, i just didnt have the time to do it.

What have you done to your car today?
Not just done today but over the last few weeks...
First off, the headlight was damaged, cracked inside, silver ring snapped and big scruff along the lens. So this was more of an experiment for me to repair this and worst case, buy a new headlight or angel lights if I couldn't. I think it worked out ok in the end but I know this is a temporary solution. Thank you to PiotrZ4 for the replacement ring!
I know there is a slight colour difference between the headlights but in person, the difference is quite minimal. I also need to give its a once over with the Autoglym headlight restorer.
Whilst the bumper was off, it gave me the chance to replace the AC condenser and also fit some W5W Cool Blue bulbs. A big difference which I am chuffed with. The simple things hey.
Next I replaced the worn gear knob for a like for like. Completely mint and another big thank you to basil the dog for providing this. Both guys being complete gents! After reading how to replace this and how I could potentially whack myself in the face, only the inevitable happened. The old (gear) knob, smacked me plum right on the forehead. I thought it would have left a mark, that's how hard it hit me
The bumper alignment with the headlight is a real bugbear, after several attempts to perfect it, I just couldn't do it. Maybe I need a professional to look at it. Maybe its the bumper, maybe the headlight, maybe its the brackets the screws go into, maybe they need a little knock so its more aligned, I don't know I'll leave it for now as I've got an MOT this Monday and a full service. I am keen on a set of chrome angel eyes but these can wait.
Happy for any comments and yes I know the car needs a clean, its off the road since end of Jan and is well overdue

I love the new pedals Jay
Did the footrest come with them? and was it a perfect fit? I bought one off eBay but it’s far too big and overlaps the original footrest
I really like the way your transforming your Zed

Cheers Jay, I’ll have to check out their website. Yep, I can fully understand your dilemma choosing as both the footrest style and the cf pedals both look equally nice

I fitted a maintenance charger connection to the battery today. She doesn't get driven much so I hard-wired a Ring maintenance charger to the battery. It has terminals to connect to the battery and a plug to connect to the charger, so it can be left in the trunk whilst driving and then connected up when I'm not!

Found some 'doorcard mats' in the shed, so fitted them in the pockets.
I think they came from an interior I bought on eBay. My original doorcards didn't have them. Perhaps they were an option?

I thought I would give some homemade side skirt extensions a try. It kind of follows the curve of the car towards the front, but I am wondering if i should bring it out a bit and have a nice straight line. The curve was kind of unintentional anyway.
