Shame you couldn't have this plus a Z... best of both worlds...

Would have been great but with 4 cars in the household already it would have made it very tricky & expensive.

The interior looks nice but always concerned the newer cars cut cost, but was in a 420 recently and was pleasantly surprised, the white leather looks nice

Oh, did you get the sunroof?
20D indeed - I think the interior is very up market in comparison to others Ive sat in. The white leather is really nice (I will try and get some better shots) they are the same as these:

I didnt go for the sunroof as an essential so this one doesnt have it. For £945 its a very tiny sunroof, think smaller than the old school standard sized sunroofs you saw in the 90s, nothing like the panoramic roofs on evoques etc.

No idea what car that is, but looks fine to me. 8) Bit like an E86 that's had a darn fine meal..... or two.

Enjoy your new wheels and keep posting  .

Its an X4, just read the Motor Trend review located here: http://www.motortrend.com/new_cars/04/bmw/x4/

and found this description to be precisely me:

"The tortured logic behind the X4 probably goes something like this: If you think a 3 Series wagon is too carlike, an X3 too much like a boring SUV, a 3 Series Gran Turismo practical but not sporty enough, a 4 Series Gran Coupe sporty but not practical enough, and you definitely don't want to drive a 3 Series sedan like everyone else, then the X4 is the perfect vehicle for you."

I love the X6 would not change it for anything. This might come close.

BMW are finally making nice interiors, mine is a bit plainer.

Well done nice purchase.

Did not know the sunroof on the X4 was not a full size one like on the rest of the series. Is the roof that much smaller than an X3?

Not sure about the roof size differential but this is the X4 Sunroof option:

Not on the X4? Can you show me where you saw that as Ive never heard of one. Only the Glass sunroof as pictured above and listed below:

Excuse the broadspeed link - quickest place to show all the options!

hehe well as you have probably seen the previous owner replaced the grill for an all black one which initially I didnt like, but it has grown on me.

The 20D only has a single tail pipe, a second would be nice but it wouldnt fit so many come replacement time.

Those wheels look ace! but I like the 20" M Sport alloys and they are big enough.

Same can be said about the suspension, the ride is good now, I dont want to change it.

I was contemplating a tuning box but actually theres plenty of power for me.

Boot lip spoiler is the only other thing and Im not quite convinced yet..

Seeing quite a few more on the road, and I think they look nicer than the x6. Another car where pictures don't do it justice.

It appears that most folks I've seen have M kit and have spacered their wheels so they look pretty butch, not sure if that's a dealer mod but again really suits it.

The arches look like they can swallow the 22s no probs :)

Agree with you, the majority are M Sports, I would say almost 85%, the remainder are predominantly X-Lines. My wheels havnt been spacered, I will have to have a look at that. You're right 22s would easily fit in the arch but I will let someone else do it first and report on the ride..

Totally agree they look awesome in the flesh

I prefer the twin pipe, this one is... Nothing special and a bit lacklustre compared to the rest of the car.

I bought a BMW PE for my 320d e92 and it was excellent! Even made if sound better!
