The early 6er i had was without doubt my best car for drive quality , extras ,presence,engine/exhaust noise & sheer grunt from the lights , they really are epic on all fronts
Hopefully be back in one someday , much preferred to the new shape IMO , diluted the muscle car look too much
Enjoy the ride & keep us posted with life as a 6 owner , if things do go wrong be prepared for a wallet crushing experience

That is a bit of a monster! Nice one Sam, remember you saying about them.
A mate used to have a 645 and it was fantastic.

Re: From Z4 to 650i
Does it? BMW fabric roofs on 4 seater verts usually go back of roof lifts first, roof storage opens and roof folds into it. But in the 6 the rear window goes down first then that formation starts. Different to the E85 and even the E89, although the E89 is more like the fabric roof formationmitch_z4. wrote:the boot lid goes up first and it all folds inside that and then gets covered up, i test drove (3) 645i's before i got my ///M, they are a lovely smooth drive and very powerful, but every time i went back in my sons 3.0i Z4 i knew that is what i would end up withandysat wrote:Is the roof folding mechanism more intricate than a zed?

Lol it would be so loud
I see people remove the middle silencers and put a x pipe in between the twin exhausts
Sounds pretty loud
