Re: Whats your other car ?
Haha. I went totally in reverse then. My 1st car was a huge family sedan. Then I decided that I should have a midlife crisis earlier in life, so in came the M.GP20 wrote:Dude that's a very awesome looking ride. Bring it to our next meet.
Styling wise, the C-class definitely beats the A4 hands down. The A4 looks nice, just a little blend and boring. I haven't driven the C yet so I'll have to find out later. You might be right that I should go with the bimmer though. I never thought I'd grow old so fast , and want to get a 4-door family sedan so quickly, not to mention with the automatic transmission, until my Z4M was at the dealer and they gave me an E90 328i loaner. I thought that car was suprisingly nice and comfortable. The steering definitely didn't bother me one bit.
But then again, it could be that I've been spoiled by the Z4M and the G35 that my perspectives were biased right off the bat when I went to test-drive the A4. I'll definitely need to test-drive the Accord, Camry, TL, or maybe even a Caddy.
I wouldn't even bother with the Accord or Camry. I'm thinking maybe you should test drive the new G35 sedan instead. And if you need a second opinion, I'd be more than happy to test drive the cars with you. Zoom zoom!

2005 Chrysler Pacifica- decent winter car, terrible to drive on dry streets.

Heh. I figured I'd test-drive them first so my perspectives would be more neutral so when I go to BMW, Mercedes, and Audi (I'm gonna give the A4 another chance) dealers I wouldn't go in there with unreasonable expectations.Rick Hunter wrote:I wouldn't even bother with the Accord or Camry.
I'm done with Infiniti though. I think I've told you about my buying experience when the sales manager lied to me and changed the previously agreed numbers on the lease contract in the last second because they knew I was in a hurry to get back to work. It was my fault that I didn't go over the contract, but then I didn't expect a "luxry-brand" dealer to pull off something that a shady used car dealer would. There are only 2 Infiniti dealers in the entire state. One is 1 mile away from me where I got my G35 from. The other one is 45 miles from me. But both dealers are owned by the same owner. There's just no way I would go back to either dealer.I'm thinking maybe you should test drive the new G35 sedan instead.
Thanks buddy! I'll definitely take up your offer one of these days. Maybe we can take the test-drive at Barrier Mercdes, and afterwards just drive across the street to Porsche and take out a nine-eleven for a joy-ride.And if you need a second opinion, I'd be more than happy to test drive the cars with you. GP20, I drove a C350 in Germany. It was a great car and accelerated well. I was amazed at the acceleration from 100-200kph!! Are you thinking of getting a C63 AMG??

And if you do end up liking the M-B W204, then I'll take you to a better stealership to seal the deal (and less than MSRP too!)
