My current ride is a ZZR1400. Kinda makes everything else I have ever driven or ridden seem slow. I tend to not go too fast in the Z, stick to cruising and use the bike if I feel the need for speed.

Great posts, keep them coming. Had a great ride yesterday with CWAM - took in Bridgnorth, Iron Bridge and may other scenic parts of Shropshire and a 2 course lunch at the Raven in Much Wenlock. Classy affair.

Hi there,
I'm not quite a Zed owner as yet, picking up a mint Z4M on Friday!

I ride a 2007 Triumph Sprint ST 1050. About to head to Greece on it next week.

It's motorcycle (and conv.) weather!
'07 Z4M Interlagos Blue. All options except extended leather.

Are you riding the whole distance or using the autozug?

My new F800S is being delivered this weekend. It will be my first bike since mt RD125LC in my teens!

It a twin, so hopefully a bit more friendly than the 600s I was looking at. Its got heated grips and ABS too, which is nice. Ex demo model on a 10 plate. Should be a bit quicker than the zed

Cow & Calf near Ilkley - lovely and twisty up there, but a bit too popular with walkers and sheep !

How's the street triple to ride? Been thinking about this sort of bike for a while now. Currently ride a Yamaha R1, well I say ride, it's very rare that I go out on it, 300 miles in the last year. Back and wrist pain seems to be getting worse, perhaps a different style of bike would rejuvenate my interest in riding.

7500 miles in last 2 years - plenty enough power and upright ish riding position make it an easy and rapid ride. Superb fueling and brakes too. Try one, or even the new tiger :) plus you're buying British +

I've ridden BM bikes for the last 35 yrs, bought my first Z4 last year, my first BM bike was the R90 which I still have, and have had from new, now do most of my riding on my R1100GS,superb bike and really comfy for my 60 year old frame.

If I was going with Triumph, I'd go for the Sprint ST. Looks sporty, provides some protection from the elements and comes with panniers if you fancy a tour or weekend jaunt. Plenty of torque if you're 2up and it's a solid machine. Beats driven a Zed
