the top doesn't drop and it looks like it has an underbite. And the carbon fiber hood/bonnet is a little too rice for my taste.

I don't disagree, BUT....
prediction - they will sell all they can make of the 1er series & it's all about the $$$

remember when everyone was asking WTH were BMW & Porsche doing making SUVs?

It was probably designed to get the younger crowd into a BMW, just like the MINI, hoping that the owner will "upgrade" to a more expensive BMW on the next purchase :)

I went to look at one the other day, and they never had a single 1er coupe in the showroom :scratchhead: In fact, they hardly had anything in at all, just a nice white 335i convertible - they must be waiting to get past this quiet time of year.

Clarkson can be an idiot. The engibe is very nice but the car is fugly :roll:
