Service, Insurance and MOT this month- can I have my e86 back please!!
And that is why I didn't get a C63, or an M car. £157 insurance for me and the mrs on the 6.
I did some research on parts (Autodoc) and the 6 parts are mostly about the same cost as the E89.

It's true but I buy a car for my heart and not my head.

Looks like you have pretty much got the best of both worlds there.

I hope you get some nice sunny weather and some dry roads to enjoy!

They are a reverse tardis! Massive outside and tiny inside! My M4 is bigger inside than the 640d was. They are lovely cruisers though for sure. The 6 series is a great looking car to my eyes too.

Unfortunately it was a NO from my bank manager (remember those), Uncle Boris and niece Greta. I can always have a bespoke exhaust made to simulate the noise

No they were too far down on the famous BMW options list IIRC. I have, however, managed to source BMW's secret design inspiration for the F12/13 6 series. Here is a photo. Like all concepts they dropped the flag and searchlight but otherwise it is quite true :

Houses were cheap. It should have become apparent, especially with this thread, that I am a cheapskate
